First, you had the Indica. Add a cute looking backside to it and you got the Indigo. Put some more muscle on that backside and you have the new Indigo Marina station wagon, Tata's latest 'everyday use' offering that combines the 'luxury of a sedan with the practicality of an MUV'. Well, don't they all?

Windowless wonder, anyone?

Tata Motors' 'Rs. 1 Lakh Car' initiative seems to be picking up steam. The 'people's car' promises to hit the Indian tarmac by sometime 2007. Refusing to be cowed down by cynics, Tata insists that the new car will NOT compromise on quality.

And now a little birdie tells me that the base model of the car will have neither doors nor windows. How does the idea of driving your family to dinner in a 4-wheeled autorickshaw sound?
