Oooh! Things are about to get exciting all over again. Parent company Suzuki has approved Maruti's proposal to roll the Swift out by May. To be manufactured in only 4 countries across the world, the Swift will make it's global debut right here. Expected price - somewhere in the region of Rs. 4.5 Lakhs. It'll be interesting to note how Maruti finally prices it vis-a-vis the Getz.

Hey Mahesh :-),
Really haven't had a chance to give it a go, but can't wait to. Seeing that it'll have a 1.3 heart like the Getz, it will be interesting to see how the two match up in terms of performance. If the Swift does manage to better the driveability of the Hyundai superhatch, then hats off to the design team at Suzuki, 'cos the Getz is one sweet car to drive.
What will be even more interesting to observe is the verdict that the Swift gets against the Fusion. The pundits have let their opinion be known that the Fusion is a much 'funner' car to drive than the Getz. Will the Swift prove even better? Let's wait and see.
