Much like new parents can breathe easy once the new baby has had its first fall and scraped a shin or banged a knee, I'm guessing new car owners are a less harried lot once their shiny new car gets itself a shiny new scratch! =)
My Getz now has herself two little dimples on her flank, just over the left rear tyre, thanks to some overzealous reversing - both on my part as well as another driver's. It'd been a walking-on-bubble-wrap couple of weeks before that, as I tried to avoid the inevitable. But now that the damage has been done, I'm feeling a helluva lot lighter.
In the words of a certain green-skinned, large-grinned, yellow-suited gentleman: "Ssssssssssomebaady stop me!"
PS: The car's fine. I got the scratches touched up at the body shop the next day. But for the more do-it-yourself kind of folks among y'all, here's something.
I got my Santro serviced at Suhrit Hyundai in May 2005. Before tthat I got it serviced at Hyundai Motor Plaza , Mathura Road and there were no problems. Due to heavy rush there they only recommended Suhrit Hyundai.
Suhrit Hyundai is a cheat Service Center. They replaced(stole) my working odometer(km reading meter) with a faulty one.

the first servicing at Suhrit was also a big proble, and I had to visit them again as lot of things were servced and electrical connections were a problem.
This was the second time I got my car serviced at Suhrit, since the first time it has been giving problems.

Ha! Welcome to the club.
BTC(Bangalore terror corp) bus did the trick for me in the second day itself. Luckily for me, the bus driver was more interested in the left rear-view mirror and took it off from the wrong side.
It took me two full days to get back to normal and now i'm a lot okay (yeah feelin' lighter).
