Update: Well, it looks like my Jamaican friend was right. This good piece on the reasons for the slow but sure emergence of the new B+ segment in India does in fact, confirm that the Swift will officially be launched on the 19th of May.

U are off the mark with the date, mate!!AFAIK, the Swift is being launched on the 19th or the 20th of May. The entire 27th thing is caused beacuse of its tieup with Bunty Aur Babli which is releasing on 27th. The car will be available a week before that..trust me on this one
